We have grown internationally by staying close to where it all begins.

What started with a focus on tropical fruit has developed into an integrated international group connecting farms, packing and processing facilities, logistics and commercial operations across continents.

Over the years, we have expanded our origins, capabilities and market reach while staying focused on the fundamentals of our business: knowing our fruit, understanding our customers and building long-term relationships.

At the heart of our fresh & frozen operations

Our own operations in Peru bring growing, sourcing, fresh packing and frozen processing together at origin.

With two specialised facilities and direct access to key production areas, Peru plays a central role within the Frutos Tropicales Group. From fresh tropical fruit for international markets to frozen products for retail, foodservice and industry, our local teams manage the product close to where it is grown.

Our Piura operations are focused on the selection, packing and preparation of fresh tropical fruit for international markets.

Working close to our own production and grower partners allows us to maintain full traceability and control throughout the journey from field to customer.

Petrolina, Brazil

Grown by us. Connected to you

Our own mango farms and packing operations put us directly at the heart of one of Brazil’s key fruit-growing regions.

From Petrolina, we grow, harvest and pack mangoes for international markets. Having our own production and packing capabilities at origin gives us direct control over the product and full traceability from our fields to our customers.

Combined with our other origins, Brazil is an important part of our international mango supply programme.

Local growers. Local presence. Global connection

Our operations in the Dominican Republic connect experienced local growers directly with international markets.

Working exclusively with selected grower partners, our local team manages the sourcing, packing and preparation of avocado and mango for export.

The Dominican Republic complements our supply from other origins, helping us extend seasonal availability and build more reliable programmes for our customers.

At the source of the West African mango season

Our operations in Korhogo place us directly in one of Côte d’Ivoire’s key mango-growing regions.

Since 2025, Frutos Tropicales has invested in local facilities and operations to source and prepare fresh mangoes for international markets.

The West African season complements our supply from Peru, allowing us to transition between origins and extend our mango availability across the year.

With a local presence at origin, we stay close to the growers, the fruit and every step towards export.

Local expertise. Now part of a global group

Rica Fruta brings established Costa Rican melon expertise into the Frutos Tropicales group.

Since joining Frutos Tropicales in 2026, Rica Fruta has added its experience in the production, sourcing and export of melons to our international network.

Its local knowledge and established operations strengthen our presence in Central America while giving customers access to specialised melon supply through the wider Frutos Tropicales Group.

Our European operations connect our production origins directly with customers across the continent.

From our base in the Netherlands, Frutos Tropicales Europe combines commercial, logistics, ripening, packing and customer service capabilities, bringing our products closer to their final markets.

With additional commercial offices in France and Austria since 2026, our teams are even closer to our customers — understanding local requirements, responding quickly and connecting demand directly with our teams at origin.
